‘Let’s have our bus stops working for the good of both residents and the environment’

• IF people are to get out of their cars and on to public transport then bus stops must be closed for the shortest time possible.

Not only have several bus stops been closed in the streets and areas you mention in your report (Travel chaos as key bus stops are closed, April 7), but the one bus stop for the 46 and 274 in Royal College Street, near Camden Road station, has been closed since the start of the year.

The mad street works that have meant no bus service in this area have now been dormant for a month. How much longer will this nonsense take? No consultation, now it’s no construction work, no bus stop, no buses.

Thanks Camden Council and Transport for London, you are a great team (not!). Let’s have our bus stops working for the good of both residents and the environment.
