WHAT a week it has been for the girls from Hampstead Football Club.
The celebrations have been endless with four age groups all enjoying success in the Hertfordshire Youth League, winning a league title, a cup, a shield and gaining promotion between them.
Sharp-shooters Charlotte Matthews, Maia Kolodner Vasturo, Elizabeth Bennett, Millie Pope and Deanna Matthews all scored as the under-13s beat rivals Harvesters 5-1 in a championship play-off.
The under-11s also had reason to cheer after overcoming Bishops Stortford on penalties to gain promotion into Division One.
Hampstead took the lead when Kendal Fass picked out the perfect pass for Lily Noel, who coolly beat the keeper.
Bishops Stortford equalised to force penalties, where goalkeeper Anna Costello became the Hampstead hero as she saved four spot kicks and scored to seal a 4-1 win.
Hampstead’s confidence from the spot was on show again when their under-12s beat Enfield Town 3-1 on penalties to capture the League Cup.
The triumphant side were presented with their trophy by Arsenal Ladies star Kim Little (pictured above).
The under-16s side were also big winners as two goals from Sarah Whale and strikes from Lulu Szego, Hannah Dalgilesh, Rosanna Frith-Salem and Samira Mohamed sealed a 6-2 win over Bedwell Rangers to clinch the Shield.
