STRIKER Deanna Matthews hit six as Hampstead Girls continued their unstoppable form in the Under-13s Hertfordshire Friendly Football League on Saturday.

Strike partner Maia Vasturo Kolodner added four more as the free-scoring side recorded a resounding 15-0 win over Garston Ladies.

On another day Millie Pope might have stolen the headlines with her hat-trick while Charlotte Matthews scored twice to complete the devastating rout.

Manager Jim Matthews couldn’t ask for much more from his team, who have won all the games they’ve played this season and kept eight clean sheets on the bounce.

It proved a super Saturday for Hampstead with the club’s six youth teams netting good wins.

The Under-11s put on a great display to beat Garston Girls 2-1 in the Hertfordshire League thanks to goals from Jo Jo Chadwick and Anna Costelo.

The Under-12s were also celebrating in the same competition as they beat Borehamwood Girls 5-3 at Chase Lodge.

Alexis Taylor and Honor Thompson each hit two goals and Melanie Hall was also on target.

Another of Hampstead’s top Under-12s teams registered an impressive win in the Capital Girls League.

Two goals apiece from Scarlett Howarth and Francesca Bell, and a strike by Emma Costin sealed a 5-0 win over Cantelowes.

Leila Benyakief struck twice as Hampstead’s newest Under-12s side toppled Islington Borough 7-2 to reach the semi-finals of the Capital Girls’ League Cup.

The winning weekend was wrapped up by Hampstead’s Under-16s side who came from 3-1 down to beat Stevenage Borough 4-3 in the Hertfordshire League.

Missy Robinson fired Hampstead ahead, but the home side stormed back to take a 3-1 lead. In a great display of fighting spirit Sophie Croft and Lulu Szego scored to make it 3-3, before Tobby Omotunde hit a late winner.
