• HUMAN kindness still exists.

I was in Superdrug in Kentish Town, about 4.30pm. I went to pay for my goods and somehow I could not find my card to pay. I fumbled into my shopping trolley, without finding it in time.

Behind me a gentleman said: “I will pay for it.” And he did so, just as I found my card.

I felt a bit embarrassed but also very grateful to this gentleman, who was in about his late 30s.

Oh how kind. So please thank him for me as I do not have internet of any kind and I am 81 years of age.

I’m most grateful to him. His name began with P – the Covid face mask stopped me hearing his name. But I am most grateful to him. He made my day…
