MIDDLEWEIGHT sensation Alan Higgins (above) has promised Friday 13th will be “a nightmare date” for his opponent.
The 25-year-old, who grew up in Kilburn, is still waiting to find out who he’ll face when he steps into the ring at the York Hall in Bethnal Green for his first title fight next month.
“I’m not a superstitious person so I don’t care what the date is, but I can promise you it will be a nightmare for my rival,” he said. “I’ve been sparring with world champion Darren Barker, which has been a fantastic experience. I’m ready and hungry to fight.”
