Frank Dobson

• I WAS very saddened to hear the news of the passing of our former MP Frank Dobson, a true community leader, (Former health secretary Frank Dobson dies at 79, November 12).

Frank Dobson was an excellent Member of Parliament for his home seat and a successful health secretary. Frank was a dedicated leader who had exceptional qualities. Camden is very multi-cultural.

Frank had a wonderful connection and relationship with everyone of every culture. All the communities in my ward would agree on how we have lost a wonderful person.

In 2010, after I was elected as a councillor, he had continuously supported me. Frank made me feel very welcome as he was always willing to listen and offer support.

Frank’s legacy will remain in our hearts as a true hard-working human being. He was a true hero for Holborn & St Pancras. He will never be forgotten.

I express all my sincere heartfelt condolences and sympathies to his family members and friends.
