Forget the politics of Haringey, what about Camden?

Thursday, 22nd February 2018

• IT was pleasing to read that current members of Camden’s cabinet, backbenches, and potential councillors can find the time to criticise the decision making process of another borough, (Councillors must heed the lessons from Haringey and support the abandonment of the scheme there which would rip up communities, February 8)but what are they going to do for Camden?

Smirking from the sidelines about the small victory for their bit of the Labour Party, as if anyone cares, is utterly pointless and they should be ashamed. Get on with running this borough not point-scoring off another Labour authority.

I am very glad to be able to register my disapproval at the election by not voting for Cllr Merik Apak. If the best thing he can do as cabinet member for better homes is screw up bin collections and celebrate homes not being built somewhere else it is time he was moved on from Camden.

We need homes now. Get on with building them.
