YOUNG footballers from West End FC took the honours at Mallinson Football Club’s Under-9s mini-tournament 2011 in Bishopswood Road in Highgate on Saturday.

MFC Tigers and Sharks, West End and Hampstead, who all compete in the Camden and Regent’s Park league, went head-to-head in three fun, but competitive, matches.

West End and Tigers led the way with two strong victories but a 2-0 win when the two sides met early on in the competition settled the tournament in West End’s favour.
