COACHES from a top youth football club are relishing a brand new challenge after guiding their team to the double

Reece Darcheville and Bol Joseph enjoyed a magnificent season with ‘A’ Class, leading their under-11s side to the A Division title in the Camden and Islington Midweek Youth League and the London Cup.

Now the managers have set their sights on a new goal after announcing that their triumphant side will change its name to AC United.

Reece is excited about the new challenge that lies ahead, but isn’t about to forget how it all started. “We wanted to set-up a new club where we had a little bit more control”, he said. “It’s like ‘A’ Class was where we served our apprenticeship and learned our trade, and now myself and Bol are ready to go it alone.”

Reflecting on the manner of their victories and not just their silverware success, Bol added: “Overall it was a great season.

“For us it’s more about the performance than the results, and we won the double playing very positive football.
“All the boys really developed as players, which is always the main objective for us."
