SCORES of coaches, players and parents (pictured) from The Heath FC went that extra mile for charity on Sunday.

Three managers, 27 players and more than 30 family members and friends connected to the youth club joined in the Sports Relief Mile at the Shree Swaminarayan Temple in Golders Green.

The Heath certainly made their mark as they raised £2,342 for charity.

Delighted coach Stephen O’Brennan said: “As a small club this was a lot more than we were all expecting to raise but it goes to show when a group of motivated young children and their friends and family put all their efforts together to support such a huge cause, anything is achievable.”
