FOOTBALL fans were united by the same goal when they joined in a special festival to raise money for the West Euston Partnership Football School.

Held in Regent’s Place, coaches from Queen’s Park Rangers in the Community set up a host of fun activities, including a climbing wall, a penalty shoot-out competition and a table football game, as well as a raffle giving people the chance to win tickets to see QPR play at home.

Children from nearby Christ Church, St Aloysius and Netley primary schools also joined in the fun as they took part in a giant real-life game of table football before having their picture taken with the Championship trophy.

Councillor Tulip Siddiq turned up to show her support, saying: “Bravo to the West Euston Football School for such an exciting initiative.

“Football is one of our most popular sports in Camden and I’m delighted to support this project.

“It will deliver further football coaching for our talented athletes. Congratulations to Tony Louki and his colleagues for helping young people achieve their dreams and fulfil their sporting ambitions.

“A big thank you to QPR for their contribution in making the day a success.”
