FOOTBALL coaches from West End FC are inviting scores of youngsters to join them in a free kick-about on Saturday at the Malden Road Sports Pitch in Kentish Town.
The club, which prides itself on being one of the cheapest in the borough, is searching for players aged seven to 12-years in a bid to generate more teams for next season.
Manager Peter Chapman said: “We are one of the cheapest clubs around because we’re not about making a profit. For us it’s about giving as many children as possible the chance to play football. On Saturday even if kids aged over 12 want to come down and join in they’re more than welcome.”
The two-hour session starts at 10.30am.
