Youngsters from Christ Church Primary School in Regent’s Park will look every inch like professional footballers the next time they step out onto the pitch

That’s after the boys and girls from the school in Redhill Street were presented with sporty new tracksuits courtesy of the West Euston Community Fund.

Chairman of the West Euston Partnership Joynal Uddin and trustee Councillor Heather Johnson were given a warm welcome at the school.

They received heart-felt messages of thanks, including one from boys’ captain Labeat Dushi, 10, who said: “Our new tracksuits are amazing and they provide us with inspiration during our matches. I’d like to thank the West Euston Partnership for giving us them, they make us feel very professional."

The partnership have also helped the children with their skills on the pitch after arranging weekly training sessions with a top coach from Chelsea FC.

Admiring the new training gear, Cllr Johnson said: “They have professionals training them and now they get to look like professionals when they step out onto the pitch. The tracksuits will give the children a real boost, and they’ll look the part.”
