Brothers Guiseppe and Gio Falzone inspired Phoenix to a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Crouch End Rangers at the weekend in Division One of the Camden Sunday League

The duo combined for the opening goal mid-way through the first half as winger Gio raced clear and calmly tucked his shot past the keeper.

Rangers equalised shortly after the hour and an upset looked on the cards when Phoenix goalkeeper Daniel Ewen was sent off for handling the ball outside his area.

Guiseppe stepped between the sticks and made a string of saves to keep his team in the game.

Gio then played his part as he capped his man-of-the-match display by grabbing two more goals to complete his hat-trick.
