Under-9s Cup

Angel Islington kept their hopes of winning the double alive and kicking on Friday when they beat Islington All-Stars in the Alan Michael Browne Challenge Cup at Market Road.

Johnnie Nicastro and Drew Durnan both scored twice, while Frankie Cain and Oliver Heath were also on target in a scintillating 6-0 win.

Angel are also within touching distance of winning the Under-9s ‘B’ League title following their 3-1 win over Futebol De Salao. Julian Sarmiento hit two, while a fantastic individual effort by Heath wrapped up the win.

Under-12s Cup

Two talented young hotshots gave the professional clubs a mouthwatering taste of things to come as they scored for Pro Touch Soccer Academy (above) in the Liboria Risveglia Challenge Cup on Tuesday.

Devan Sinclair, who is currently on trial with League One side Brentford, and Kledian Hysaj, who is training with Championship side Watford, were both on target as Pro Touch netted a 2-0 victory over Highgate Rangers.
