YOUNG footballers from the Pro Touch Soccer Academy will be looking to start their new year in style tomorrow (Friday) when they return to action in the Camden and Islington Midweek Youth League.

The Under-9s outfit (pictured) will have to be at their best when they kick off their 2012 fixtures against The Heath, who are still unbeaten at Market Road.

Pro Touch manager Carlos Santos has high hopes for his side. He said: “We’ve got a strong team, and I’m confident that they’ll do well in the second half of the season.”

The Academy are holding their latest open trials at Market Road next month. Children, aged five to 11, are invited to take part on Monday, February 13, while trials for 12 to 15-year-olds are on Thursday, February 16. Both trials take place between noon and 2pm.
