DOUBLE-chasers Angel Islington are flying high this season as they look to capture glory in the Camden and Islington Midweek Youth League at Market Road.
The Under-9s side (pictured) are currently eight points clear at the top of the table having won seven and drawn one of their eight league games.
They also marched into the quarter-finals of the Alan Michael Browne Challenge Cup on Friday with a scorching 6-0 win over Islington All-Stars.
Manager Danny Cruise, who also guides the team in the Cheshunt Youth League, said: “In all competitions we’ve scored over 100 goals so far this season.
“The team are really expressing themselves on the pitch and sharing the goals around. It’s a pleasure watching them.”
