THE famous Flying Scotsman locomotive train is to be brought back into action in memory of the businessman behind its restoration. Sir William McAlpine, who died in March, bought the train from Alan Pegler, who had been running tours with it in the US. A memorial journey will leave King’s Cross station for York in January.
