The BBC just did an amazing film called Britain’s Housing Crisis: What Went Wrong? which shows how the housing problem started decades ago but was made far worse by cynical political decisions by successive governments. And, yes, Rishi Sunak is still making things worse!

The CNJ is right that Labour must tackle the problem from the roots up to start fixing the mess. But politically it is a huge task, so perhaps Labour is wise not to go into too much detail right now.
