• FIVE Guys, the American fast-food joint, has applied to open on West End Lane.

It will open until 11pm Monday to Thursday (I think that’s what the notice said) and midnight Friday to Sunday.

The application includes a licence for “regulated entertainment”, whatever that is.

That’s what we all need: another noisy, smelly, fast-food place whose customers will hang around late at night and no doubt drop litter everywhere.

If you object to this application (PREM-LIC\119635), you have until March 19 to contact Camden Council’s public licensing register.
