THE free-scoring Heath came from a goal down to beat rivals Primrose Hill in a five-goal thriller and continued their unbeaten start to the season in the Under-12s ‘A’ Division of the Camden and Islington Midweek Youth League at Market Road.

Primrose took the lead through Henry Macpherson’s well-taken free kick but the Heath hit back to level courtesy of a clever chip from Jean-Michel Kabongo.

Primrose goalkeeper Gus Beagles did his best to save the shot, but was injured in process and temporarily had to leave the field – and The Heath were quick to capitalise.

Dion Sfarca struck from close range to complete the turnaround before winger Danny Cochrane added a third to give The Heath a 3-1 lead at the break.

Primrose set up a nervous finale when midfielder Thomas Coleman reduced the arrears, but The Heath held out to net a 3-2 victory and become the first side to beat Primrose in the league in more than two years.

The result leaves The Heath joint top with FC Unity having scored a whopping 17 goals in just four games.

In the Under-9s Division, Isledon Wolves were the side that came from behind to win as they took on one of The Heath’s youngest age groups.

Calvin Williams stole the show as he scored a tremendous treble, while Luke Levy was also on target to earn Wolves a 4-2 victory.

Not to be outdone, Isledon’s Under-10s also showed great resilience as they came from a goal down to score four in their game against TT Sapo Verde.

Wolves boasted four different goal-scorers with Allesandro Hunter, George Bennett, Lucas Panayi and Sidney Kershaw-Shirley all finding the back of the net in a 4-1 win.
