MORE than 20 firefighters tackled a blaze at flat in Belsize Park this morning (Monday) after a neighbour called 999.
The London Fire Brigade said a resident living in a lower floor of a house converted into flats in Parkhill Road had heard gushing from a burst water pipe at around 1am. The pipe had melted due to a fire. A small section of a flat on the fourth and fifth floor was damaged.
There were no injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
