fencer Soji Aiyenuro added another title to his growing list of accolades when he won the Commonwealth Youth Championships in Guernsey.

The 18-year-old narrowly beat Camden Fencing Club team-mate Curtis Miller 15-14 in the final of the men’s individual sabre to strike gold.

Another club member, Aliya Itzkowitz, was also on top form as she won the individual women’s sabre event by defeating Francesca Rushton 15-9 in the final.

Camden’s Izabella Sosnowska was also among the medals as she finished third to take bronze.
