The send-off in Primrose Hill [Simon Lamrock]

FRIENDS and neighbours of legendary pub landlord John Sutton bid a final farewell as his funeral procession left his home in Primrose Hill yesterday (Wednesday).

His sons thanked people for the outpouring of messages of condolences after his death earlier this month following a coronavirus infection.

He had been a popular resident on the Oldfield estate but punters in Camden Town remembered him for his time running some of the best loved pubs including the Old Eagle and the old Camden Stores.
