Children with balloons showing 273 – the number of homes built on the estate

RESIDENTS living in new council homes celebrated their estate’s redevelopment on Saturday. Families shared lunch and games to mark the end of work on the new-look Maiden Lane estate, where 273 new homes have been provided. More than half will be private flats, but 74 have gone to people on the waiting list for homes and 52 will be used for the Camden Living scheme, aimed at making the rental market more affordable.
