THEY might not admit it, but defender Alex Scott (left) and her Arsenal Ladies team-mates can be forgiven if they spend more time wondering what is happening elsewhere today (Thursday) when they continue their Champions League campaign at Boreham Wood FC.

The Gunners host Kazakhstan side Kairat in the second-leg of their Round of 32 tie.

But after two goals from Kim Little and strikes from Danielle Carter, Jordan Nobbs, Katie Chapman, Rachel Yankey and Freda Ayisi helped them amass a 7-1 lead in the first-leg, Shelley Kerr’s side might just be more interested in what is happening in Scotland.

They could face a mouth-watering Battle of Britain clash next if Glasgow City can overcome Belgian side Standard Liege, a tie which is delicately poised at 2-2.
