Share your personal experiences of dementia

Thursday, 2nd December 2021

• ALZHEIMER’S Society is looking for people in London with first-hand experience of dementia, to share their voice by joining a new Dementia Voice London group.

There are over 78,660 people living with dementia in London. Whether you are living with dementia or caring for someone who is, you can share your thoughts and help shape the work of local councils, museums, art galleries, the NHS, banks, shops and more.

Dementia Voice London will be a place to exchange ideas, share progress, connect, and raise the voices of people living with dementia in London’s corridors of power and at a civic and parliamentary level, to influence real change.

We are inviting people living with dementia, carers and supporters (friends and family of people with dementia) to share their personal experiences, knowledge and skills.

The meetings will start monthly – initially via Zoom – and will give participants a chance to share their views on a vast range of topics that will make a difference to the lives of people affected by dementia in London.

The group will offer consultancy to external organisations, campaign for change and put Londoners living with dementia at the heart of decision-making.

If you are living with dementia and would like your voice to be heard in London, please contact Leanne on 07484 931922 or email
