KICKBOXING champion Audifax “The Stinger” Kinga paid tribute to his supporters after landing a long-awaited European title on Saturday.
The light-middleweight, who lives in Kentish Town, captured the ISKA Professional European belt after opponent Mikey Worswick retired at the end of the seventh round following a one-sided encounter at the Circus Tavern in Essex.
For second-dan black belt Audifax, who is an instructor at Springhealth Kickboxing Gym in Holloway, the European title was the missing piece of the puzzle. He had already won British and world championships and represented Great Britain.
He said: “To add a European title to my collection is a great achievement, but I couldn’t have done it without the help of all my supporters who kept me motivated and pushed me to reach the very top of the sport.”
