Essential Living have made substantial changes to their plans for 100 Avenue Road
Thursday, 1st November 2018
• A FEW weeks ago we wrote regarding Essential Living’s proposed Construction Management Plan for the 100 Avenue Road redevelopment.
In it we criticised the fact that substantial 11th-hour changes had been made to the CMP without there being enough time for the council and for concerned residents to absorb and comment on the new information ahead of the planning committee meeting that was due to consider it, which at that time was set for October 24.
In response to these concerns the council delayed hearing the CMP application to November 15. And now we find ourselves with a strong sense of déjà vu. Just as officers are compiling their report for that hearing, Essential Living has made further substantial changes.
So once again we call upon the council to delay hearing the application so all concerned have a reasonable period of time to digest and comment on the new information.
