Prince playing at the Electric Ballroom

CELEBRATED Camden Town concert venue the Electric Ballroom has lost a bid to increase its capacity to 1,500. It will be capped at 1,200, an increase of just 100. Council officers claimed extra capacity would lead to bad behaviour in streets outside but the venue said its customers were more likely to go for a meal than binge drink.
