EHRC finding were damning
Thursday, 18th November 2021
• RICHARD Kuper (The EHRC got it wrong on free speech, November 11) appears to be in complete denial that the Equality and Human Rights Commission Investigation into antisemitism in the Labour Party findings were at all substantive or damning or serious.
Mr Kuper inadvisedly downplays the report as if it is a little scratch or misguided or mistaken. In fact the EHRC findings were so powerful they were based on hard evidence of “political interference in the handling of antisemitism complaints” within the Labour Party and from staff in Jeremy Corbyn’s office (the then Labour leader) as published in my letter of November 4.
I suggest Mr Kuper ceases his persistent, pathetic, and repetitive monologue to deny Labour’s guilt of anti-Semitism and instead throws a little of his weight into the present battle by Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer et al to try to finally root out and rid Labour of its hard-left cancer of anti-Semitism.
