Edmund Grant

• IN your article about the 1950s film on Hampstead (Take a stroll around 1950s Hampstead as rare footage goes online, October 14), you published a photo of someone speaking from the platform of the Socialist Party of Great Britain at Whitestone Pond and ask “Is it Ralph (Miliband)?”

It is in fact Edmund Grant who was still speaking there into the 1970s. He died in 2008 and, among other things, was the SPGB candidate in Hornsey in the 1970 general election.
