COMEBACK kings Earlsberg Eagles fought back from behind for the third match in a row to beat title rivals Racing Chiswick on Saturday in the Premier Division of the West End League.
The Camden-based side had dominated the first half hour but it was Racing who made their possession count as they took the lead against the run of play. Their advantage didn’t last long as Kayan Kalipha soon smashed home the equaliser, reacting fastest after a Jay Miles shot cannoned back off the post.
Player-manager Kris Culley completed the comeback from the penalty spot on the hour mark before Kalipha wrapped up a 3-1 win late on with his second.
Culley, who saw his side play the last 10 minutes with 10 men after star player Rene Jarrett hobbled off injured, said: “Louie Robert earned himself the man-of-the-match award. The left-back didn’t put a foot wrong.”
