Saras Pradhan and Dylan Rendell

THE shield of success has been passed on as highly-rated youngster Saras Pradhan presented the Player-of-the-Year Award that he won with South Hampstead Cricket Club last summer to Dylan Rendell. 

It was just one of the honours handed out at the ground in Milverton Road, Brondesbury Park, recently at the annual Dipak Parmar Awards night, in memory of the club’s former chairman. 

In a fitting tribute there was only one way the celebration could be brought to an end, as the parents took on the club’s young colts in a friendly match.
