Dry Cleaning released new album, Slumpwork, at the end of last 2022

POST-PUNK rockers Dry Cleaning swap their south London roots for Camden Town on Friday after a switch of venues for their latest gig.

They were due to play the 02 Brixton Academy but the venue’s licence has been suspended since a crowd crush claimed the lives of two people a concert in December.

An investigation into what went wrong at the Asake gig is continuing with the licence suspended until April at least.

Ticket-holders who were waiting to see Dry Cleaning can use them at the Roundhouse in Chalk Farm Raod on Friday.

The only band, perhaps, that could come up with the lyrics: Things are shit/But things are going to be ok and I’m going to see the otters/There aren’t any otters, there are, well we can check/And I’m going to see the water caterpillars/There’s no such thing.
