The car was left on its roof in England’s Lane

A DRIVER who crashed and flipped their car in Belsize Park fled the scene before officers arrived, police said.

Officers were called to the scene in England’s Lane at around 8.30pm yesterday (Monday) to reports that a driver had lost control of their vehicle.

A Met spokesman said: “Officers attended and the occupants of the vehicle have fled the scene prior to police arrival.”

They said police would attempt to trace the vehicle’s owner, adding: “There is an investigation into the circumstances that is ongoing.”
