Don’t let the authorities make us prisoners in our own homes

Primrose Hill during lockdown

• I WAS appalled that police were ordering people to leave Primrose Hill recently.

I live in a very cramped, airless flat and suffer from depression, anxiety and physical health problems, so I need to go to Primrose Hill to sit in the sunshine. As do other people who don’t have the luxury of a garden.

To try to deprive people of fresh air and sunshine and calling them irresponsible is beyond a joke.

I sat on Primrose Hill this weekend reading a book, and minding my own business. I was about 20 feet away in all directions from the other people sitting on the hill.

People need to go outside and sit in the sunshine, otherwise the powers that be are making us all prisoners in our homes.
