• MOST people in the New Journal area are desperate for Hampstead Heath to stay open, but alongside any runners/ walkers conflict (and recently I have noticed that nearly everyone is behaving with courtesy), the biggest problem seems to be the minority of selfish dog walkers who are leaving bags of dog poo, and unbagged dog poo, around the Heath.

Notices make it clear there are not enough workers to empty the dog bins, which is why they have been removed. Would dog walkers please take their dog leavings home with them instead of creating health hazards and unpleasant litter on the Heath?
