Dominant Peel keep up pace in title chase

FORMIDABLE frame winners Sir Robert Peel are clearly in the mood to retain their Division One title in the Chalk Farm Pool League.
The dominant side have now won 26 of the 27 frames they’ve played this season after beating stablemates Sir Robert Peel ‘B’ team 9-0 on Monday at their home venue in Queen’s Crescent.
Elsewhere, Danny Fry brought home the all important fifth frame to earn the Boston Arms a narrow 5-4 victory over King’s Cross Hawks, while the King’s Cross Hurricanes cruised to an 8-1 win over The Lion.
In Division Two The Peckwater beat Doyles Tavern 8-1 and league newcomers Cousins Elite won 7-2 against the King’s Cross Invaders. Visit for full results.
