Under-9s Division
MIDFIELDER Casey Christou drove Angel Islington to their second win on the spin on Friday with a player-of-the-match display against Primrose Hill.
Dylan Simson opened the scoring with a neat finish before Jack McKeown scored what proved to be the winner as Angel netted a 2-1 win.
Midfielder Sam Perry scored for Primrose Hill.
Under-11s B Division
SISTER clubs The Hill and Belsize Youth started their season by sharing the spoils following their 1-1 draw on Tuesday.
Belsize took a half-time lead thanks to a clinical finish from striker James Shrimpton. But in the dying minute The Hill equalised as Ewan Josserand poked home from close range.
The numbers game came into effect on Tuesday as Regent’s Park and Sapo Verde battled out a 2-2 draw at Market Road.
Regent’s Park started a player light and paid the price as goals from Harry Pedlow and Tyrique King gave Sapo a 2-0 lead at the break. An extra player turned up during the half-time interval to bolster the Regent’s Park ranks, and with the full eight on the pitch the side hit back to earn a draw thanks to goals from Fred Potter and Ralfie Street.
Under-12s A Division
STAR striker Deon Marshall scored a stunning hat-trick as Isledon Wolves outscored a depleted St Pancras side.
Goalkeeper Freddy Akguc, Thierry Okwara and Reece Dewar also all played well for Wolves in a 3-1 win.
Under-12s B Division
CHAPEL Youth picked up more than just three points when they beat Lyndhurst in their opening match.
With Lyndhurst naming a string of former Chapel players in their starting line-up, bragging rights and banter was also on the line.
Max Tyson opened the scoring with a well-placed free-kick which he curled into the top corner from just outside the box.
Defensive midfielder Matthew Falcher then took centre stage with two stunning strikes, the first a thunderbolt from distance, as Chapel ran out 3-0 winners.
Under-13s B Division
NET-BUSTER Devan Sinclair put in a lethal display of finishing as Islington Borough kick-started their season with a resounding win over Angel Islington on Friday.
The hotshot grabbed four second half goals, which along with strikes from Louis Noel and Joe Bennett wrapped up an impressive 6-1 victory. Nyle Jones and Maxwell Sutton also caught they eye for Islington Borough with outstanding displays in defence.
