WITH a host of trophies up for grabs players from Regent’s Park Estate FC (above) are gearing up for a
make-or-break run of fixtures in the Islington Midweek League.

The destiny of the Premier Division title is beyond their grasp with the teams around them all boasting games in hand. But manager Des Casey, who runs the side alongside Perry Joyce, knows that there are plenty of reasons why his squad can’t take their eyes off the ball.

“Realistically the league title is out of our hands but we’re still in the hunt for four cups. A lot of players have gone on to start playing Sunday football so we have to be lucky with injuries and make the most of our squad. If we can do that, hopefully we’ll lift at least one of the trophies and that would be a tremendous achievement for the club.”
