OUR very own man with a plan, Dan Carrier, was among the managers dishing out last-minute tactical team talks on Saturday as young footballers from across Camden and Islington descended on Regent’s Park hoping to snap up some silverware.
The New Journal reporter was busy preparing his Under-12s West End FC side for a titanic tussle against rivals One Strike as the Camden and Regent’s Park Youth League hosted an action-packed day of cup finals and title deciders.
Striker Burt Thorne, midfielder Kane Jones-Sayer and keeper David Langford were among the West End players eagerly listening to Dan’s words of wisdom, but did the die-hard Tottenham fan follow in the footsteps of Mauricio Pochettino and lead his troops to a weekend win?
