The scene in Swain’s Lane

A CYCLIST has been injured in a hit-and-run in Highgate.

Police were called at 6.45pm on Sunday to a car in collision with a cyclist on Swain’s Lane.

The Met police said the driver of the car – a black BMW – did not stop at the scene. Enquiries are underway to trace the driver.

The male cyclist was taken to hospital and his injuries have been assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
