Cycling on the pavement must be curbed

• PAVEMENTS are becoming a danger to walk on these days.

The other morning someone sped past me on Adelaide Road on the pavement on a bicycle. That afternoon I was walking home along Chalk Farm Road when suddenly a man on a bicycle passed me, nearly knocking me over. As this was the second occurrence of the day I called out: “You nearly knocked me over. You should not even be cycling on the pavement.”

He suddenly stopped cycling, got off his bike, and started swearing at me and telling me not to start with him. I worried that he was going to hit me.

This incident left me very shaken. Cycling on the pavements at such fast speed should not be allowed and it is high time Camden did something about this.
