newcomers Coalition Crusaders continued their magnificent debut season in the Sunday League at the weekend when they booked a place in the Junior Cup final.
The Division Three side smashed six goals past Chalk Scratchings to reach their second cup final of the season.
The game looked all but over by half-time as goals from Nick Riley, Mustafa Baskal (pictured) and Ardian Saban gave the Crusaders a 3-0 lead.
To their credit Chalk Scratchings started the second half with a battling spirit and were denied three times by Crusaders’ keeper Vasile Pastrav.
Any hopes of a fight-back were short-lived, however, as the Crusaders ran riot with Saban and Baskal both scoring again and Lewis Williams also getting in on the act to wrap up a 6-0 win.
In the final they will go head-to-head with King’s Hell Cats, who beat London Badgers 3-1 in their semi-final.
