Coalition Crusaders enjoyed a 5-1 victory over Chalk Scratchings in the Camden Sunday League Challenge Cup
Published: 23 December, 2014
THE Coalition Crusaders have certainly earned their festive break after putting in a Christmas cracker of a performance in their final fixture of 2014. The free-scoring side wrapped up their year with a 5-1 victory over Chalk Scratchings in the Camden Sunday League Challenge Cup. They are now just three wins away from retaining the prestigious trophy, which the New Journal proudly sponsors. Having won back-to-back promotions since joining the league, the Crusaders are also within touching distance of top spot in the division one table – trailing leaders Crouch End Rangers by five points, but, crucially, with two games in hand.
