JOINT efforts from Paul Atherley with the bat and Karthik Jagannathan with the ball helped South Hampstead beat Barnes by 92 runs on Saturday.

Coming in at number five, Atherley smashed his way to 94 off 103 balls, hitting nine fours and four sixes along the way, as South Hampstead scored 206 off 54 overs before being bowled out.

Jagannathan turned it into a winning total as he took four wickets at the expense of just 41 runs in a devastating bowling display.

Nish Patel also chipped in with 2-16 as Barnes were bowled out in the 40th over for just 114.

• Bowler Carman Mapatuna stole the show as Highgate clinched a three-wicket victory against Kenton. In a ruthless 20-over spell Mapatuna took six wickets at the expense of just 77 runs. His efforts saw Kenton restricted to 214 before being bowled out in the 50th over. A team effort with the bat saw Ed Atkins score 56, Matthew Holly hit 48, Nicholas Brunner putting in a good knock of 37 not out and Jake Sharland pitch in with 33 as Highgate reached 215-7 off 49.5 overs.
