SCORES of sporting youngsters were full of cheer this week when they took to the courts at La Sainte Union School in Highgate for the conclusion of the Primary Schools Netball League.
Overall, 20 teams from 12 schools took part in the six-week competition, which was organised by the Camden Schools Sports Association.
Pupils from St Aloysius Junior School in Somers Town defeated all before them to win the ‘A’ League, seeing off strong competition from runners-up Primrose Hill along the way. Gospel Oak captured the ‘B’ League title, denying runners-up St Aloysius the double.
The league was run in partnership with Camden Council Sports and Physical Activity Service, with support from volunteer sports leaders from La Sainte Union secondary school.
