WITH 12 games left to play, Cousins Elite (pictured) are firm favourites to lift the second division title and with it a well-earned promotion into the top flight of the Chalk Farm Pool League.

The Islington-based side are the only team in the entire league to remain unbeaten so far this season having won all 12 of their games.

The runaway league leaders continued their top form on Monday when they chalked up a resounding 8-1 victory over Slattery’s.

The result leaves Cousins Elite top the table with 124 points, 23 points ahead of their nearest rivals.

In Division One Slattery’s Squatters pocketed the shock result of the week when they ran out 5-4 winners against the high-flying King’s Cross Hawks.

League leaders Sir Robert Peel are 13 points clear at the top following their 7-2 win over The Lion.
