Camden Council has blamed a “contractor” for the error
APOSTROPHE, or not to apostrophe.
That is the question in West Hampstead after Camden Council posted new road signs which caused a double take from passers-by.
How the road sign name should look
Gladys Road had become Glady’s Road.
A council press officer said: “This was an error made by a contractor. The sign is being corrected today.”
